Okay, while I want to get away from off-topic posts, I thought this was worth mentioning.
I am not a believer any longer. Not a big deal to anyone but me, and I really have no desire to discuss it. The reason to bring it up will become clear.
I love Christmas carols, both old and new. I use these songs and music whenever I am depressed. They still evoke the feelings I had previously, and they mellow me out. Last year, I gave myself permission to start listening right after Thanksgiving. This year, I am starting before Halloween! I can't help it, and that's just the way it is.
So, today, I am sailing down the freeway, listening to Christmas carols, singing along, getting up for the game, you know? I arrived at the offramp feeling okay, very positive. But, it's a busy offramp, and I had to wait a bit.
I look out my car window up at the sky. Wow!
The sky is blue, except for a fair amount of thin clouds, streaming over from somewhere. They weren't billowy, they were thin.
Right there above me, there is an area of clouds, which I can't even imagine how they got that way. Picture a cloud. Picture a thin cloud with the center missing. The center edges were sharp, as if it were cut with an exacto knife. Very large area. Outside edge wispy, inside edge sharp as a knife. Very defined. A clean circle, with no other clouds touching it. Like a smoke circle, only sharp.
Inside the cloud circle was a DEVIL HEAD. I mean, a face with horns coming out of either side of the head. Not touching any part of the circle.
Look, I know that you can see many things in clouds. I know that. But, I wasn't prepared to see a horned head in a circle.
I don't have a picture of it. Sure wish I did, drat. I can't imagine how the wind currents did that. Oh, I'm sure it was winds aloft that sculpted it. But, whaaa??
It has nothing to do with my recent changes. I do not think that my mind dredged up that in response to anything internal. It was what it was.
There was someone this year that mentioned that he had seen a square cloud. I, too, have seen a square cloud, before the other cloud was mentioned. I was relieved that someone else had seen one, too. I think it is odd about these clouds.
Quite frankly, I am looking for the first signs that, perhaps tornadoes, the big, scary kind, will become common in my area. (We don't get them here.) The climate and weather patterns are changing, and I am, you know, just taking stock. Just noticing. So, I thought it was really strange to see a circular stream of clouds like that. How could it stream like that, in a circle, and have something in the center that does not touch the inside of the circle?
Well, guys--keep looking up! Maybe we can see it coming. Just plain weird. Well beyond rabbits and cats.
I'm just a regular person, same as you. A skywriter couldn't do that, right? It is near Halloween...just something to think about, I guess. Creepy.
