The Arizona Team calls this a "Popular Landform in Cydonia Region" PSP_003234_2210

Note: HiRISE captured this picture as the camera was heading from North to South over the Cydonia region. However the Arizona University team decided to release this image in a reversed orientation - with North pointing down. I.

I see no reason to present an inverted image of the Cydonia Face, other than to obfuscate its facial features.
